Finished game score: 6410. I've used snapshots in a Virtual Machine, without that I only reached level 12. It's too annoyng restart from level 1 and die fast in a new level just to learn how it works. This was common in Spectrum games, but maybe this don't work anymore because we have a lot of other games waiting on the line to be played. The last 2 levels are a lot easier than the previous.

Thanks for the feedback. Based on general feedback, I may be adding a stage select option to the game soon so that it will be possible to start the game from any previously completed stage, which will make it easier to practice later stages. The last two stages were made to be deliberately easier as a kind of reward for beating the more difficult ones.

I've added a stage select to the new release (v1.1). You can now start the game from any stage that you have previously completed.

Maybe I'm boring, LOL, but players would prefer if they can restart on the level they reached, for example if I reached level 3 (finished level 2), I would like to restart on 3, not play level 2 again to then play level 3.

I decided against that, as it would make it too easy to get to the end.

Hey! Great little platformer you made here! The art-style is very cute and I did not have a hard time learning how to play the game. Your SFX are spot on also.

One thing I noticed is level 2 seems a bit too hard for a second level. You want to make sure you keep your players in a state of 'Flow'. Granted this is different for every player, but ideally going from something very easy to something a good bit hard such as your transition from Level 1 to Level 2 is something you want to avoid.

Great work! I am happy to review/critique any other games you have!

Thanks for the feedback. The player/enemy collision detection is very forgiving in this game, which might make some seemingly difficult stages a lot easier:
